I’ve always believed in the power of words. Writing can change minds, businesses, even entire communities. I studied English and creative nonfiction writing at Connecticut College because I wanted to understand why some writing moves us while other writing gets lost in the noise.

Early in my training, my writing professor jumped up from her chair after spotting yet another rogue comma, and announced to the class, “I’m not your writing janitor!” She insisted that we know the rules before we could break them. That moment stuck with me. I went on to become an award-winning writer, but more importantly, I became someone who helps others use language with precision and purpose.

Over the years, I discovered that what lights me up most is helping authors uncover the heart of their message. As an editor, there’s nothing more satisfying than transforming a draft into something clear, compelling, and commercially strong—something that connects with readers and increases the author’s impact.

Today, I work with entrepreneurs, coaches, consultants, and people with a story to tell—whether they’re writing a book to build their brand, share hard-won wisdom, or finally craft the memoir that’s been tugging at them for years.
